Supermarine face tough contest against league leaders

SUPERMARINE face the daunting prospect of a visit to Southern Counties South leaders Devizes tomorrow.
The league’s bottom side picked up a morale boosting victory at home to Weymouth on Saturday, which was only their second success of what has proved a difficult season.
Head coach Gavin Russ admitted the clash with the league leaders is far from ideal as they look to build on their victory, but wants his players to go out and express themselves.
“It’s top versus bottom, and it is certainly going to be a very difficult situation for us because they are flying high,” he said.
“It is not the ideal scenario at all because we are coming off our win on a real high and we would love to keep that going, but we can’t pick and choose when we play these teams.
“We have to try and play the game we want to play and react to what they through at us. We don’t know if they are going to be putting out their best side, and whatever happens we will not be rolling over.
“We have home games to come where we can pick up some points, and that means we have nothing to lose in this game.”
Elsewhere in the division, Wootton Bassett return to action after a week off with a difficult visit to Wimborne.
