Form not an issue for Sky Blues boss Carsley

COVENTRY’S caretaker manager Lee Carsley is ignoring Swindon Town’s ropey form as he prepares for Saturday’s League One clash at the Ricoh Arena.
Town have picked up just five points from five matches, including a miserable 1-0 home defeat to Bury on Tuesday, and take on a Coventry side who have won three of their last four.
However, despite the two teams’ relative recent results, Carsley has stressed that it will not be a walk in the park for his Sky Blues.
“I have watched a lot of Swindon who are a good team with some outstanding individuals,” he said. “They have got goal threats all over the park, they’re well organised and the league table is a reflection of how good they are.
“It might be a good time to play them but I am sure the last three managers have said that about us. It can go either way.
“If we’d conceded an early goal at Bury, before you know it we could have been out of the game. But we won the game and got a bit of confidence and before you know it you have a bit of momentum.
“It might have gone the other way with them after losing one and drawing one but they have got good players and I am sure any potential manager will be watching them so they’ll have someone to impress as well."
