10:52pm
YOUNG V POJONISEVS - YOUNG WINS 59-56
10:50pm
YOUNG V POJONISEVS ROUND SIX (FINAL ROUND)
Pojonisev knows he has to produce something special to take the win, but Young keeps jabbing to keep him at arms' length. When he does that his opponent has know answers, but, to his credit, Pojonisev keeps battling and lands a number of shots to the body.
That's it, and it looks as if Young has done enough, but we await the decision.
10:45pm
YOUNG V POJONISEVS ROUND FIVE
Young finds his range with his jab again, and puts together a good flurry of punches which force his man into the ropes. Pojonisev continues to push forwards, but spends a lot of energy to launch a series of big punches which only make contact with Young's gloves.
For me, the fight is Young's as long as he keeps himself out of trouble in the final round.
10:42pm
YOUNG V POJONISEVS ROUND FOUR
Pojonisev's punches are more aggressive than Young's, and the Swindon man is losing his discipline slightly as he stops using his jab. He finds his range by the end of the round, but the Latvian already had done enough to win that one.
10:37pm
YOUNG V POJONISEVS ROUND THREE
Young is more and more in control of this one, and when he works his jab well Pojonisev has no answer. When he stops pushing him back with his jab, that is when the Latvian is able to pounce.
10:34pm
YOUNG V POJONISEVS ROUND TWO
When Young gets in and out with his jab he is in control of this, but Pojonisev has come to fight, and has tagged Young on a couple of occasions despite his height disadvantage.
10:30pm
YOUNG V POJONISEVS ROUND ONE
Young was right, his Latvian opponent is a dangerous and the first round was pretty even. The Swindon man is looking to use his jab to get in, and if he does, his height advantage could see him through.
10:26pm
We're underway!
10:26pm
The Swindon fighter has a huge height advantage.
10:25pm
That's it for the undercard, with Kelvin Young due on soon for tonight's main event.
The Swindon man faces a change of opponent after Matthew Barney pulled out of their scheduled Southern Area super middleweight title fight, and although his belt is no longer on the line, he admitted his opponent tonight is a dangerous one.
KELVIN YOUNG
“I was devastated when I heard Matthew Barney had pulled out but I have to be professional,” said Young.
“We had a game plan for Barney and now that has had to change.
undefined
“It’s far from ideal but I have to just get on with it.
“Losing to Tony Hill was a big blow because I am desperate to compete at the top domestic level so I wante d to bounce back with a big win.
“I can still do that against Pojonisevs and I must do that. It is still a must-win fight for me. I cannot afford to lose.”
10:24pm
Here comes Kelvin Young!

10:18pm
DEAN FRANCIS v ATILLS TIBOR NAGY - FRANCIS WINS 60-54
Never in doubt
10:17pm
DEAN FRANCIS v ATILLS TIBOR NAGY ROUND SIX
The Hungarian tries to chance his arm a bit and throughs a flurry of punches, but while it does force Francis to step back the Basingstoke man steps things up and lands punch after punch to secure the win.
10:14pm
DEAN FRANCIS v ATILLS TIBOR NAGY ROUND FIVE
Francis slightly steps things up to slightly trouble Nagy a little more, but seems happy enough to cruise to victory.
10:10pm
DEAN FRANCIS v ATILLS TIBOR NAGY ROUND FOUR
Francis is landing his punches with ease after working his way in with his jab, but while in complete control doesn't seem keen to get out of second gear.
DEAN FRANCIS
10:06pm
DEAN FRANCIS v ATILLS TIBOR NAGY ROUND THREE
Much the same story in round three, with Francis dominating. The fight has almost silenced the Oasis.
10:02pm
DEAN FRANCIS v ATILLS TIBOR NAGY ROUND TWO
Francis still in complete control, without really having to do too much.
9:58pm
DEAN FRANCIS v ATILLS TIBOR NAGY ROUND ONE
A quiet first round, but Francis well in control without really breaking a sweat.
This one is a light-heavyweight contest over six rounds.
9:48pm
VAN POETSCH V SAMUELS - SAMUELS WINS 39-38
Maybe a bit tighter than expected, but the right result.
9:46pm
VAN POETSCH V SAMUELS ROUND FOUR
All Samuels in the final round, until Van Poetsch replies with one big punch. The Lydney fighter looks out on his feet, and Samuels has surely taken it.
9:45pm
VAN POETSCH V SAMUELS ROUND THREE
Van Poetsch looking shakey on his feet at the end of that one. Neither is running away with it, but Samuels on top I would say.
9:38pm
VAN POETSCH V SAMUELS ROUND TWO
Samuels connects with a big left which sends his man staggering back into the corner, and from there controls the round despite Van Potsch's best efforts.
9:35pm
VAN POETSCH V SAMUELS ROUND ONE
Neither fighter is looking to die wondering in this one which begins at a frantic pace, and both trade blows throughout the three minutes. Even stuff, which the Samuels camp insist belongs to the Welshman.
9:28pm
Lots of fans in for Van Poetsch as he makes his way into the ring.
9:27pm
Next in the ring are Lewis van Poetsch and Jerome Samuels for a light-middleweight contest over four rounds.
9:26pm
MUCHA V WARBURTON - MUCHA WINS 60-54
The right outcome for sure, but probably does Warburton a disservice. The Lancashire man never stopped boxing and looked dangerous.
9:24pm
MUCHA V WARBURTON ROUND SIX
Mucha takes it up a gear and lands a succession of bit hits to the stomach, and despite not showing his best, had enough to take this fight.
9:21pm
MUCHA V WARBURTON ROUND FIVE
Warburton starts well with a big jab to the face, but Mucha was in control of that round and continued to work the body.
9:18pm
MUCHA V WARBURTON ROUND FOUR
The Lancastrian kept moving well throughout round four, and is doing a good job of restricting Mucha to a few speculative efforts.
9:13pm
MUCHA V WARBURTON ROUND THREE
That round goes to Mucha, who was by far the more aggressive. The Reading man threw a flurry of shots at the body, as well as connecting with one to the chin.
9:08pm
MUCHA V WARBURTON ROUND TWO
Warburton opens the round with a strong jab to the head, but Mucha battles back and lands a few of his own. This one is not as clear-cut as first thought.
9:05pm
MUCHA V WARBURTON ROUND ONE
Neither boxer really took control of the opening round, but Mucha held better ring position and forced his man up against the ropes to land a few good shots.
9:00pm
Next up, the very highly rated Tamuka Mucha takes on Lancashire's William Warburton over four, three minute welterweight rounds.
8:49pm
O'REILLY v FOX - O'REILLY WINS 36-30
Never in doubt this one, but Fox battled back well.
8:47pm
O'REILLY v FOX ROUND FOUR
You have to give credit to Fox for coming back into these, but O'Reilly once again edged this round and will get the decision. He has won every round.
8:44pm
O'REILLY v FOX ROUND THREE
A more even round, with neither fighter able to get room to land any meaningful punches. O'Reilly still in control but Fox has battled back well.
8:39pm
O'REILLY v FOX ROUND TWO
A shot to the back of the head puts Fox on his knees, and O'Reilly tears into his opponent and lands a flurry of good shots to the head after pinning his man on the ropes. O'Reilly by a mile so far.
8:35pm
O'REILLY v FOX ROUND ONE
An aggressive start from the Swindon man who easily takes the opening round, and some big shots to the head inside the final minute threatened to do some real damage.
8:31pm
Four three minute light-middleweight rounds here.
8:30pm
Fox is already in the ring, but here comes O'Reilly.
DANNY O'REILLY
8:28pm
Swindon's Danny O'Reilly up next, taking on Arron Fox of Westbury.
8:27pm
USHER V MCCAULEY - USHER WINS 39-38
DAZA USHER
THe Bicester man takes it from what was a very even contest. Usha was slightly more busy than the Brighton man, and deserved to edge it.
8:25pm
USHER V MCCAULEY ROUND FOUR
Another close round ends the fight, but both men looked tired by the end.
Waiting for the decision, but I would give it to Usher.
8:21pm
USHER V MCCAULEY ROUND THREE
Best round of the match so far.
Usher landed some big shots inside the opening 90 seconds, but mCCauley came back strong and connected with two good punches of his own. Tough to call this one.
8:16pm
USHER V MCCAULEY ROUND TWO
An even round there, with both boxers looking to get forward. Usher landed a good combo to the head.
8:14pm
Unlucky Joe Beedon #adverboxing
— @JoePrinzi 09 March 2013
8:12pm
USHER V MCCAULEY ROUND ONE
The first minute of the round is cagey, but McCauley comes out and is the more aggressive. He lands two good shots to the head, and takes the opening round.
8:08pm
This is a light-middleweight contest over four three minute rounds.
8:07pm
Second fight of the night sees Bicester's Daza Usher, a regular on KM Promotions' shows, taking on Brighton's Kevin McCauley.
8:05pm
BEEDEN V RASAK - RASAK WINS 59-56
The Birmingham fighter takes it 59-56, which is fair enough I would say.
Beeden was by far the busier boxer, but just didn't have the power in his punches. Rasak played it well, and weathered the early storm before making his experience count.
Great start to the show
8:03pm
BEEDEN V RASAK ROUND SIX
Both fighters go hell for leather in the final seconds of the round, but Rasak's punches seems to make more of an impact than Beeden's. Now for the decision.
8:00pm
BEEDEN V RASAK ROUND FIVE
The Birmingham fighter clearly feels he is on top in this one, as he stops to showboat and taunt the crowd mid-round. He is a lot calmer than his opponent, with Beedon having to work his socks off to land a punch. Pretty even though.
7:57pm
BEEDEN V RASAK ROUND FOUR
Razak takes that round with ease, as he stays on the front-foot for the entire two minutes against the tiring Swindon fighter.
7:54pm
BEEDEN V RASAK ROUND THREE
Beedon has Rasak pinned on the ropes at the end of a round where both fighters were looking to throw punches.
7:51pm
BEEDEN V RASAK ROUND TWO
An even round with both boxers looking to throw punches, but nothing major landed.
7:49pm
BEEDEN V RASAK ROUND ONE
The Swindon man came right out on the offensive in what was his first round as a pro, but despite being by far the busier fighter he failed to land any meaningful shots. The experienced Rasak came back into it in the final few sections, but it was Beedon's round.
7:44pm
Here comes Beedon!
This is a light-welterweight contest over six two minute rounds.
7:43pm
The first fight of the night is Swindon's Joe Beeden taking on Sid Rasak of Birmingham, and the Midlander has just taken to the ring.
7:42pm
Good evening everyone and welcome to the Oasis for a night of professional boxing presented by KM Promotions.
Kelvin Young headlines, but is a full undercard tonight promising some close bouts.
