SWINDON TOWN: Navarro a doubt for Town, Thompson called up by Wales
4:00pm Monday 18th March 2013 in Sport
Alan Navarro has a hamstring problem
SWINDON Town will be without Alan Navarro and Louis Thompson when they make the trip to Yeovil tomorrow night.
Navarro is a doubt with a hamstring problem while Thompson has been called into the Wales Under 21 squad for their UEFA qualifier against Moldova in Llanelli on Tuesday evening.
“We’ve got a slight problem with Alan Navarro, who’s picked up a slight hamstring tightness so he’s going for a scan,” said MacDonald.
“Chances are he won’t be available, plus Louis Thompson has been selected by Wales Under 21s which is great for the kid. He’s only 18 and it’s fantastic he’s been selected for his country at that age.
“Apart from that we’re all there."
Troy Archibald-Henville has returned to light training with Town but is still some time away from a competitive comeback, while Miles Storey is out with a hamstring tear and Aaron Oakley with a fractured foot.
