Because otherwise as fans we are helpless to watch on, unsure whether our club is being milked dry, or managed by people with good intentions but no experience.

It's OK the Football League wanting to bring in more financial fair play regulation, but I think they also have a moral obligation to football fans generally to share with us what is happening.

No so sure that was the case. In the chairman's interview on the radio at the last home match, he said Watkins had already submitted his resignation on 15 Jan, which was some time before the new board came along.
