WHITECOLLAR: Neilson Promotions Prizefighter draw made

THE draw for Neilson Promotions’ Heavyweight Prizefighter Tournament on Saturday, March 30 has been made.
Eight fighters will go glove to glove at the £2,000 event, which is to be held at the Oasis.
Former Irish amateur Danny Martin will take on ex-NAB heavyweight champion and amateur boxer Phil Williams.
MMA specialist Nick Tuckett will fight current Neilson Promotions heavyweight champion Dave Gregory.
Ringside Gym’s former kickboxer Mark White is to meet ex-Walcot amateur Scott Cadder.
The final bout of the quarter-finals will see a rematch between ex-cage fighter Rich Loveday and former Walcot amateur Stewart Johnson.
Promoter Mark Neilson said, “I have been around the boxing scene in Swindon my whole life and can genuinely say that this is the most exciting boxing event I can remember.
“Whilst putting the card together, the hairs on the back of my neck where literally standing on end as I was imagining how this night was going to turn out.
“This is easiest the biggest show with this type of format Swindon has ever seen and there are sure to be fireworks.”
The undercard features Karl Paul, who faces Kane Sherwood, while Paul Payne meets Jacob Sheppard, Carl McCulloch takes on Joe Carpenter and James Lawrence fights Ross Alexander.
Doors open at 6.30pm with the first fight scheduled for 7.30pm. Tickets are available for between £20-60.
