SWINDON Robins' clash with a GB Lions side at Blunsdon this evening has been postponed due to a poor weather forecast.

A statement of the club's official website read: "Club bosses have consulted local weather experts and heavy rain is expected throughout the evening.

"Co-promoter Gary Patchett said: 'We haven't taken this decision lightly, but we have done it to prevent riders flying into the country unnecessarily.

"'Hopefully it prevents as much inconvenience as possible and we look forward to welcoming everyone here next Thursday when we welcome World Champion Chris Holder and his Poole Pirates.'"
