SOUTHERN LEAGUE: Etheridge still in Swindon Supermarine's plans
DAVE Webb has stressed that Harry Etheridge has a future with Swindon Supermarine, despite allowing the midfielder to sign a dual registration with Shrivenham last week.
Etheridge has only played one competitive game for Marine this season and, after his recent holiday, joined up with Dave Turner’s Hellenic Premier Division outfit for some much-needed gametime.
Webb, however, has emphasised that the move is only temporary and that Etheridge still very much figures in his plans at the Webb’s Wood Stadium.
“He’s had a two-week holiday and he needed to go out and get some games. I think he played yesterday and they had a good win, so it will be good for him,” said the Marine boss.
“Harry is a good player, he’s a great clubman and he’ll do well there. It’s just a case of giving him the chance to play some football.
“He’s still very much in my plans here and he’s got a future with us.”
