GREENMEADOW Youth notched up their 100th goal of the season in their 10-0 win over Hungerford Town Juniors in North Wilts Youth League Under 11 Division 1.

The home side’s third of the match, scored by Rowan Doyle, brought up their century early in the campaign and put Greenmeadow in control after a brace from Max Whitfield.

In the second half, further goals from Josh Sawford, Liam Davis, Cyril Koomson and Ellis Kerrigan-Ritchie, another from Whitfield and an own goal sealed the victory.

Elsewhere in the division, Liden Community had a Tom Ponting brace to thank as they drew 3-3 at Forest Green Rovers.

Ponting’s two goals, alongside one from Sam Morse, ensured Liden a share of the spoils away from home against a competitive Forest Green outfit.

UNDER 10 DIVISION 2

SWINDON Supermarine J avenged their defeat to Croft Juniors B the previous week in style with a 3-0 victory over the same opponents away from home, Micky McCann put the visitors in front inside the first minute of the clash and Supermarine never looked back after that.

Croft are the only team to have beaten Marine in the league this season but they weren’t about to be allowed to record a second victory over their guests, and Harry Johnson tucked home the second for the away side.

McCann scored again before half-time and there was no way back for Croft in the second period.

UNDER 11 DIVISION 2

STRATTON Juniors Black eased to a 6-0 win at Wroughton Youth thanks to brothers Peter and Paul Amoni.

Peter opened the scoring for the visitors and Stratton led 1-0 at the break, before Paul scored a quickfire second-half hat-trick to put the away side out of sight. Peter grabbed the fifth and, in a goalmouth scramble at the death, Jaipal Jhoti bundled home his first of the season.

Wanborough Juniors saw off Lydiard Youth Blue 7-0, as Will Sumner and Tom Moore each registered twice.

There were also goals for Dan Eastell, Liam O'Reilly and Jake Hammond plus a clean sheet for standout goalkeeper Matt Goldfinch.

Swindon Supermarine J survived a bit of a fright to preserve their unbeaten run in the league with a 4-2 victory over Shrivenham & Watchfield.

Supermarine found themselves two goals down at one stage but strikes from Kieran Cardwell either side of half-time saw them level before Thomas Lawrence Grabbed the winner eight minutes from time.

Highworth Town Juniors T drew 3-3 away with Ashton Keynes with goals from Thomas Harris, Jake Sollis and Josh Uzzell.

UNDER 12 DIVISION 1

SWINDON Supermarine came from two goals behind to beat FC Chippenham 3-2.

Despite late pressure from the away team goals from Jake Collis, Bradley Wilkins and Daniel Clare saw Supermarine complete their comeback.

Swindon Rangers secured their sixth league win on the bounce with a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Ferndale Rodbourne Pumas.

With the score locked at 0-0 at half-time, Rangers scored two goals in the second half to maintain their 100 per cent start to their league campaign.

Ferndale goalkeeper, Ben Paul making a couple of outstanding saves preventing the scoreline from increasing.

Highworth Town Juniors H overcame Stratton Juniors Pumas 6-1 with goals from Jack Payne (2), Ollie England, Dylan Boulton, Jay Lardner and Edward Barnett.

UNDER 13 DIVISION 1 (11v11)

BROAD Town Colts narrowly registered a 2-0 victory against Ferndale Rodbourne YCFC despite some strong tackles and timely interventions from Ferndale’s Kyle Meader-Harris and several cracking saves from home goalkeeper Dan Argrave.

UNDER 13 DIVISION 1 (9v9)

WOOTTON Bassett Blues kept hold of top spot with a 9-0 win over Abbey Meads Colts.

A competitive first half ended with the league leaders 1-0 to the good, but their class showed in the second half as they ran in a further eight goals.

Hat-tricks from Connor Hibbs and Thomas Chandler added to strikes from Jay Crabbe, Jack Andrews and man-of-the-match Jack Coward to give Bassett all three points.

Abbey Meads keeper Finlay Taylor was superb as he made a string of excellent saves to keep the score down.

UNDER 13 DIVISION 3 (9v9)

A VALIANT performance was not enough for Ferndale Rodbourne Colts who, despite a goal from Gabriel Rios and a committed display, lost 3-1 to Swindon Supermarine G.

UNDER 15 DIVISION 1

SHRIVENHAM & Watchfield continued their excellent run of form with a 2-1 victory over Purton.

Shrivenham opened the scoring with a well-taken lob before Purton equalised before the break. The hosts then frustrated their visitors in the second half and scored the winner when Nick Moore cooly slotted past the keeper to claim all three points.

Liden Community Green couldn’t hold onto an early lead as they slipped to a 3-2 defeat at Swindon Supermarine.

Three goals in the final quarter of the match, scored by Matthew Penella-Lach, Tom Holland and Kyle Parker, gave victory to the home side.

UNDER 15 DIVISION 3

HIGHWORTH Town Juniors T continued their dominance of Division 3 with an 8-2 away win against Liden Community White.

On the scoresheet for Highworth were Will Lewis, Mitch Sutton, Jamie Paterson, Ollie Mulraney and Cameron Saddler on debut.

Liden’s goals came by way of headers from Ryan Meader-Harris and Mark Siaw.

UNDER 16 DIVISION 1

LEIGH Richards’ goal could not prevent Swindon Supermarine falling to a 5-1 home defeat at the hands of Brinkworth Cats.

UNDER 16 DIVISION 2

TWO quick goals at the start of the second half helped Wanborough Juniors to a 2-0 victory over Avebury.

Joe Brooks and Fraser Gordon were the Wanborough heroes, scoring the two goals.
