SWINDON Town have released details of how season tickets to the County Ground will be priced and structured for next season.

An adult renewing their season ticket in the Town End will pay £345, with side stands renewals costing £375.

Concessions in all areas of the ground will be charged £295 to renew, young adults will be asked to pay £265 and juniors £125.

In phase one of the sales process, which ends on March 31, the club offer an interest-free, 10-month payment plan.

New adult season-ticket holders buying their tickets up until March 31 will be charged £375 for a place in the Town End and £405 in the Arkell’s Stand and Don Rogers Stand.

Concessions wishing to buy a new season-ticket will pay £325 in all areas of the ground, young adults £295 and juniors £145.

Following the closure of the first phase of ticket sales, the option for an interest-free payment plan will expire.

From April prices in many areas increase by £10, while there is also a £28 administration fee applicable to any monthly payment plan from that point.

Matchday tickets, meanwhile, will be subdivided into gold, silver and bronze categories from the start of next season.

Gold matches will see adults pay £20 for a place in the Town End and £27 in the side stands, concessions £15 and £19, young adults £18 and £19 and juniors £12 in both.

Silver matches will cost adults £19 for a Town End seat and £25 in the side stands, concessions £15 and £19, young adults £15 and £17 and juniors £12 in all areas.

Bronze matches will be priced at £18 for an adult in the Town End and £23 in the side stands, £14 and £18 for concessions, £14 and £16 for young adults and £10 in all areas for juniors.

The matches will be placed into the gold, silver and bronze categories when the fixture list for the 2014/15 campaign is released in June.

In a statement on the club’s official website, chairman Lee Power explained the small price rises in certain areas of the ground.

The statement read: “As we continue to strive for a place in the play-offs and on-field success, I would like to say how pleased I am with the performance of the team this season. It has been a big year of change for the club both on and off the pitch with necessary steps being taken to bring the club in line with a more sustainable business model and the quality on show has, I am sure, more than surpassed most peoples’ expectations.

“In my vision for the future of Swindon Town Football Club, I have outlined the goal of promotion to the Championship and, should we not succeed this season, then we will be targeting a successful campaign in the 2014/15 season.

“I must stress that the future of the club is paramount and we must operate within our means. In doing so, I know that we can remain competitive as we have proved this season. We have, in my opinion, some of the best supporters in this division and our gates both home and away clearly show that your fantastic backing will be essential as we continue our promotion push.

“Season ticket prices have remained at a steady level for the past two seasons but, unfortunately, season ticket prices need to increase as we continue with our sustainable model. An increase of £1.09 per game will keep our prices in line with most League One clubs, whilst still providing great value for money. To help spread the cost of the increase, we would urge supporters to take advantage of the phase one, interest-free, 10-monthly installment plan.

“Matchday ticket prices will also be adjusted next season, with matches falling into either a bronze, silver or gold category. The fixtures will be categorised once the 2014/15 schedule is released later in the year. This ticketing strategy is intended to reward fans who regularly buy tickets week-in, week-out on matchdays; over the course of the season, the figures will balance out and they are unlikely to pay any more than they are currently.

“I hope that you will all continue to back this great club and let’s all hope that the future you see will take us on an exciting and successful journey.”
