SWINDON Supermarine will be looking to add to their run of three straight away victories when they travel to Wimborne this evening.

The South Marston’s most recent success on their travels came at Yate on Saturday, prior to which Dave Webb’s side hadn’t been beaten away from home in Division One South & West since their November 30 loss to North Leigh.

Webb knows his Marine players will be in for a tough test this evening against side who beat them home and away last season, although Marine did get the better of the Magpies when they met at the Webb’s Wood Stadium earlier in this campaign.

“It’s always hard going away in midweek and Wimborne is never an easy place to go, but we’ve been doing well away from home recently and we want to keep that up,” he said.

“The guys played really well to get the win at Yate at the weekend but that all means nothing really if we don’t back it up at Wimborne because we are trying to play our way back into the play-off places. Games like this are really important for that.

“We were able to raise our game at the weekend and played really well but we need to be doing that week in week out.”

Kyle Lapham remains on the sidelines but Craig Curtis is set to return having been unavailable for the weekend win at Yate, while Harry Etheridge is touch and go having suffered a dead leg.

In Southern Premier action, Chippenham travel to league leaders Hemel Hempstead Town.

“They're well clear in the division and they had another fantastic win on Saturday – maybe we'll have to got there and park the bus on Tuesday night,” boss Mark Collier said.

“We'll look after ourselves and we shouldn't have any fear going there. We'll go there as big underdogs but we'll just see what happens.”
