SWINDON TOWN: Foderingham facing three-week lay-off

Swindon Advertiser: Wes Foderingham is set for a period out of action through injury Wes Foderingham is set for a period out of action through injury

WES Foderingham looks set for a period on the sidelines with a groin injury.

The Swindon Town goalkeeper missed the weekend clash with Leyton Orient on Saturday and, after he underwent a scan yesterday, reports this morning suggest he will be out for around three weeks.

Town were unable to confirm the length of time Foderingham is likely to be absent when contacted by the Advertiser this morning.

Late on Monday night, the keeper tweeted: "Few weeks in the gym it is then."

Hope Wes comes back benefiting from his enforced rest. Good luck to Tyrell a chance to show his worth with a sustained run out. Do we have anyone for the bench or does Bedwell get a recall, always register Frasier Digby Lol.

Is Bedwell actually out anywhere at the moment?
.
Fixtures have fallen kindly for this absence as we have Crawley and Crewe this week and then a home game against a stuttering MK!
.
Bulford was good on Sat - so have no worries about him stepping in

I bet if we had made it to wembley there would have been some miraculous recoveries !!!
A sign of players getting fed up ? Or bad training technique ???

Why does everyone keep calling him 'Bulford?!' it's BELFORD.

anyway, great Opportunity for Tyrell who has been impressive in the games i've seen him. Did have woeful kicking against Stevenage but more than made up for it in the penalty shootout.

Dissapointed to lose Wes for a period of time as he is one of our best - but the opporunity for Belford is there for the taking, Could be his chance to prove he can be our no.1 next year if we do lose Wes?

Totally agree "Son of Gwen", me thinks they are on skiving curve as they know any hopes of reaching the play-offs is virtually NIL.
Crawley to win tonight, just to prove a point. !
