SWINDON Supermarine coach Sean Millwaters labelled tomorrow’s game with Chippenham as pivotal to his side’s season.

Chippenham are one point behind Marine and both teams have two games in-hand on leaders Minety. Millwaters thinks that whoever comes out on top will be right up there in the push for the title.

Chippenham have been perennial champions in the Dorset & Wilts One North and Marine are not expecting it’ll be easy to repeat the win they enjoyed at Frogwell in November.

“This week is probably the most important game of the season. With the league positions the way they are the winning team is going to be right in the mix, whereas the losing team will be lookng up.

“They’re a good team, we’re a good team. I’m expecting a hard game, that’ll be drilled that into the players.

“I think with Chippenham at the business end of their season they expect to win and that’s why it’s a big game for us.”

Millwaters has a lot of respect for Chippenham but thinks his side are capable of beating any team in the division.

“We’ve got a pretty good idea how Chippenham play, we’ve shown already that we can manage their game plan.

“The first 20 minutes are going to be key, the worst thing you can do with Chippenham is let them settle into their game, if we do it’ll be a long afternoon.

“We must dominate the breakdown. It’s key we impose our game on to them.”

“I think they’ve got to have a little bit of self doubt having lost four games already. Chippenham don’t lose games.”

“I’ll think they’ll be coming for revenge seen as we beat them up at their place.

“We’ve got a great team spirit the guys go out on Saturday and play for each other. I think a lot of came from last year. Last season we our backs to the walls and this year we’ve carried that forward.

“We’re great believers in if it’s on it’s on, whether on that’s on our 10 metre line or theirs’.”
