FOUR Swindon players picked up money during the third Players Championship event in Barnsley on Saturday.
Dennis Smith, Johnny Haines, Chris Aubrey and Mark Cox all reached round two, adding £250 to their order of merit totals, before their campaigns came to an end.
Smith lost 6-5 to last year's Players Championship Finals champion Kevin Painter, while Haines fell victim to world finalist Peter Wright 6-4.
Cox was whitewashed by Andrew Gilding, who went on to lose the final to Gary Anderson later in the day as Aubrey lost 6-3 to Joe Murnan.
John Newland lost to former BDO world champion Jelle Klaasen in round one and didn't pick up any prize money
