FRATELLOS pulled away from the pack in the Swindon & District Premier League with a 3-0 win against DJC Marlborough on Saturday.

Two goals from Dave Slattery and one from Danny Hyde secured the points for the Adver Cup finalists.

Elsewhere in the Premier Division, Village Inn and Old Town shared the points after a 1-1 draw, Bryan Halestrap getting the goal for the Village.

Swiss Chalet came out on top in a 4-3 thriller at Sportz Central. Lewis Polden and Neil Herring pegged back Sportz’s two early goals. Mark Hughes scored in a scramble to give Chalet their first lead but the home side levelled late in second half. There was still enough time for Gareth Walton to play the hero, muscling through to score with less than a minute left on the clock.

In Division One Lower Stratton won 2-0 away at Larry’s Plaice to put themselves on top of the table ahead of Swindon Spitfires in a close-run race for the title.

Chiseldon and Old Town reserves played out a 4-4 draw. Chiseldon led four times, including a hat-trick from Stuart Cody, but Old Town forced a late equaliser to share the points.

Hat-tricks from Georgian Radulescu and Jonah Ponting helped Ramsbury to a comfortable 8-0 win over Core Construction, a Chris Roberts strike and an own goal accounting for the full scoreline.
