FORMER Chippenham youth cricketer James Vince enjoyed a good day with the bat for Hampshire, as he made 144 against Gloucestershire at Bristol.
Vince hit 23 fours and one solitary maximum from 184 balls in a little under four hours as Hants went past their hosts' first innings total of 304 in their County Championship Division Two match before he was trapped lbw by Will Gidman.
