Swindon Tigershark Jazz Carlin
SWINDON'S Jazz Carlin set the fastest time in the world this year as she stormed to the British 800m freestyle title in Glasgow on Monday evening.
The Swindon Tigershark destroyed the field to finish in 8:18.36, nearly 15 seconds faster than second-placed Eleanor Faulkner.
The time is a new personal best for Carlin, as well as being a new Welsh record. Carlin will surely be targetting Rebecca Adlington's British record at the Commonwealth Games in 12 weeks time.
