KELVIN Young's opponent has finally been confirmed for the first defence of his IBO Intercontinental super-middleweight belt.
Francis Tschoffo, a Cameroon-born Frenchman with a 12 win, nine loss record, will challenge the Penhill pugilist at the Oasis Leisure Centre on Saturday.
An agreement was reached with Lormonte-based fighter after some fraught last-minute negotiations from Young's promoter and manager Keith Mayo.
Mayo said: "It's been unbelievable this has been going on for weeks now, but that's boxing. Everything has gone through and he'll be in country tomorrow for a press call."
Tschoffo will be introduced in a press conference tomorrow at 2pm at a yet to be confirmed venue.
The weigh-in is scheduled to take place on Friday where Young will go face-to-face with his 26-year-old opponent.
