GARETH Davies has returned to Fairford Town to become the new first team manager.

Davies, who quit Malmesbury Victoria at the end of the season following their resignation from the Hellenic League, replaces Paul Braithwaite at Cinder Lane after he took over the reins at Wootton Bassett Town.

Prior to becoming the manager at Malmesbury, Davies, and his assistant Ady Roper, were in charge of the reserve team at Highworth, after spending eight years at a player at Fairford.
