SWINDON Flames Youth team enjoyed a comfortable victory on their most recent outing as beat the Chippy Trixsters B team 36-0 at Farnborough Leisure Centre.

In the first period it took less than 30 seconds for the Flames to register with Liam Coleman finding the net.

Soon after Liam set up Harry Gobey for goal number two and the Flames were soon scoring at a regular pace as further goals came from Charlie Browning (two), Harry Llewellyn (six), Joseph Llewellyn (two), Liam Coleman (three) and Harry Gobey to leave the Flames 16-0 to the good at the break.

The Flames increased the pace after the break scoring at over a goal per minute as the racked up a further 20 goals.

The scorers were Liam Coleman (seven), Harry Gobey (four), Charlie Browning, Harry Llewellyn (four), Ethan Easton (two), Harry Hayes and Reed Sayers.

The victory leaves the Flames Youth in second place in the league and well set-up to make sure that they reach the end of season play-offs.

The Swindon Flames are always looking to recruit new members at all levels and are especially seeking new members for the newly formed Pee Wee (U12) team.

Training is held weekly at the Link Centre on Saturdays from 10-11 under the guidance of GB ice-hockey coach Mark Beggs.
