GOATACRE suffered a four-wicket defeat at the hands of Keynsham in Premier Two.
Brad Dawson’s side made a steady start with the bat on their home ground.
But wickets at regular intervals meant that they were unable to forge any meaningful partnerships with wicketkeeper Toby Horton top scoring with 45, while Keynsham’s Sam Wheller claimed 5-49.
In reply the visitors made a solid start as the opening pair Russ Wakefield and Tom Bancroft put on 96 with the former going on to hit 64 as Keynsham sealed the win with 20 balls to spare.
