WRAG Barn pro Josh Loughrey will be pleased with his week’s work after finishing seventh in the Flory van Donck Trophy.

With that finish new pro Loughrey makes his third top-10 finish of the season and picks up more than €1,200.

For the second round in a row Loughrey opened up with a birdie but then faltered at the par four third and fourth.

Another hole the 23-year-old has enjoyed at Golf 7 Fontaines - Le Chateau is the 10th. His run of birdies continued there in his final round but that shot was immediately dropped with a bogey at 11.

Another bogey at 17 meant Loughrey missed out on a share of fith place but having carded no double bogeys over the whole three rounds will be pleasing for Wrag player.

Loughrey now moves on to the Servizi Italia Open at Asolo Golf Club next on July 16.
