Andrew Nicholson won his third consecutive Barbury Castle International Horse Trials title on board Avebury.
The Kiwi rider and world number two in eventing, had leads the CIC*** Section A having adding a faultless showjumping round to his impressive dressage score of 34.8.
Home-bred Avebury, who who likes the Barbury course produced the best dressage test of his career.
Francis Whittington and Easy Target were runners-up with Paul Tapner on Yogi Bea in third.
