LECHLADE won their first silverware of the season with a 27-run win over South Cerney at Bourton Vale in the CDCA T20 Cup final.
Lechlade, batting first, were set up for the victory with a 79-run partnership between Brad Dial (54) and Ali Killham 25.
South Cerney in reply scored 141, with Will Bowers being Lechlade’s bowling hero as he took 4-36 from his four overs.
Lechlade captain Paul Godding said: “Its been a good weekend for the club and this is the first of the trophies for the season.
“Hopefully we can go on and win the league and defend our County Cup to make it the greatest season in our 128-year history.”
