Swindon Tigershark Jazz Carlin
SWINDON Tigershark Jazz Carlin qualified fourth fastest in the 200m freestyle in the opening swimming session of the Commonwealth Games, setting a personal best and Welsh record.
Going in heat four Carlin swam 1:57.61, nearly a second behind heat winner Australia's Emma McKeon but was fourth fastest qualifier overall in what, in truth, is not her strongest event.
Carlin goes in the final at 7.35pm tonight.
