SKIPPER Troy Batchelor believes the Robins are coming good at the right time as they prepare to take on play-off rivals Coventry this evening.

The Robins’ win over Eastbourne on Thursday put Alun Rossiter’s side back into fourth place, although the Eagles’ win over the Bees on Saturday night saw them slip back to fifth going into tonight’s clash.

However, with an easier schedule on paper than the poor-travelling Eagles, Swindon are in with a serious chance of making the post season and Batchelor believes the team are starting to produce the goods at just the right time.

“Dak (North) has been on fire and there were plenty of positives to come from it, we needed to build that confidence up so we need to keep things rolling to Monday at Coventry now,” he said.

“Things are coming good but last year we led all the way and then failed at the end so you need to come good at the right time.

“Things are starting to happen for us in the team, Dak is coming good, Nick is back to where he should be and I think things are looking good.

“Nathan is staying on the bike now and finishing four laps, which is the first goal, and he’s racing well.

“It’s nice to see everyone contributing and scoring well and hopefully it can carry on.”

Swindon go into tonight’s contest without Peter Kildemand who is taking a second week off to recover from the effects of a minor concussion he suffered last Sunday, with the rider still suffering dizzy spells if he attempts to exercise.

Due to a lack of suitable guests, the Robins will run rider replacement in his absence meaning Batchelor and his teammates will each take five rides at Brandon.
