TOWN'S Johnstone's Paint Trophy first round tie at Newport County, scheduled for the start of September, looks certain to be moved.

Mark Cooper's men were draw away in Wales against the League Two side but a NATO summit being held in Newport that week means the match will have to be played at another date, yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, Town have released ticket details for the visit of Brighton in the Capital One Cup next Tuesday (August 26, 7.45pm).

Adults tickets are £12, concessions £10 and juniors £5 while season ticket holders seats will be held until next Monday at (10am).

Contact eticketing.co.uk/swindontown, go to the STFC Store or phone 08718761993 option 1 for more details.

Good to see sensible pricing for the Brighton game hopefully we can get a decent crowd next week. As for the Newport game we should tell them play it at the County Ground instead .

And you (plus the at least 7 people who support your post) would have been happy to sacrifice home advantage and play at Newport if the circumstances were reversed?

Come on, the mighty STFC are in town. Just cause for switching the NATO summit to somewhere in the North Atlantic.
Not much happening in St Helena at the moment.

£12 excellent pricing by Power, i really thought it would be £20 like it was at Luton.
Now the stay away fans need to show up, if they do not there can be no complaints when we are asked to pay £20 in the Third Round!
