SWINDON Town have confirmed the re-signing of defender Josh Lelan on a month’s loan.

The Advertiser revealed this morning that they had spotted the 19-year-old in the town with teammates Ben Gladwin and Jordan Turnbull yesterday lunchtime fuelling speculation that his return to the County Ground was imminent.

And this morning Mark Cooper has managed complete the deal with Lelan’s parent club Derby County.

The defender is likely to go straight into Town’s matchday squad for tomorrow’ clash with Coventry City and Cooper revealed at his pre-match press conference that he only had 10 fully fit players.

And now that Lelan, who made two appearances for Town in his first spell at the club, is on board that makes 11.

So MC only has 11 fit players for tomorrows match? Then we will be the first club in history to go into a match with no substitutes...can everyone who is attending tomorrow bring along a pair of football boots please LOL.

That`s me. I was a striker for East Bruce Street first eleven. I`m expecting to play for the last five minutes tomorrow and when I come on I expect there will be tumultuous applause from the Town End when I score !

connor waldon will play upfront, the one who came on for andy williams on tuesday night. He's one of the ones that was given a pro deal at the end of their 2 year scholarship last season

It would help in an article like this that states we only have 11 fit players to confirm who are fit and who are injured. By my count, unless I've missed someone or someone else has got injured today! our team tomorrow will be:

Foderingham
Barthram
Turnbull
Branco
Lelan
B Smith
Kasim
L Thompson
Luongo
Byrne
Waldon

Subs:
Belford
Agombar (if he's not on the bench under these circumstances then his contract really must be a dodgy Jed deal)
Youth team player
Youth team player
Youth team player
Youth team player
Youth team player

I think the starting 11 should be good enough for at least a draw against Coventry. I guess if Ward and Harley don't make the bench tomorrow then there must be costs/bonuses involved in their contracts that Power/Cooper doesn't want to pay.

Waldon and A N Other, hoping that the injuries aren't as bad as first thought and one out of Williams and Smith can play.

A Player on long term loan may not be recalled except for a goalkeeper or where the Player
is to be transferred permanently by the Club holding his registered contract. A Player other
than a goalkeeper so recalled cannot be permitted to play for the Club holding his
registration after such recall until the end of the Season.

Hence why Storey cannot be called back.

Williams , if he plays , wont be really fit so not at his best. His confidence was just returning and the " critics " would soon be on his back once again. Hope he stays out .

You simply have been out of the country for far too long to understand the rules relating to loan transfers. I believe you have now been given the corrrect lesson by Mr Syrett.

Please stop pontificating on things you don't understand or comprehend or have knowledge of, it doesn't help one jot.
