SWINDON Town face another blank Saturday later this season following Walsall's progression to March's Johnstone's Paint Trophy final this evening.
The Saddlers' 0-0 Northern Area final second leg draw with Preston North End booked a place at Wembley on Sunday, March 22 for the first time in the Midlands' side's history, courtesy of a 2-0 aggregate success.
However, that means Town's scheduled County Ground clash against Dean Smith's side on Saturday, March 21 will now have to be rearranged.
Meanwhile, Town stayed on top of League One last night as MK Dons blew their chance to take over at the summit.
The Dons were held 1-1 at Scunthorpe and remain third, two points behind both Town and Bristol City in second spot.
Chesterfield moved into the play-off places with a 3-0 win over Crawley.
