CRUNCH time has arrived for Westlecot men and their hopes of claiming a wildcard entry into the end of season Wessex League play-offs.
For them to progress they must beat Carterton in their final east group match tomorrow.
They also have to take the honours on at least three of the four rinks and collect at least 15 out of the available 16 points.
What makes the task for Westlecot that bit harder is the fact that Carterton are in third spot in the east region table, one place above Westlecot and 13 points clear of them.
If Westlecot manage to gather the 15 or more points, then they will be hoping that their final points per game average is one of the top four best out of all of the third and fourth placed teams in the other five regions to claim one of the play-off wildcards available.
HOME - Rink 1: James Nobbs, Mike Shawyer, Mike Bowden & Mike Titcombe. Rink 2: Kevin Embling, Huw Dawson, Terry Walton & Ian Williams.
AWAY - Rink 1: Dave Matthews, Tom Pittuck, Gary Jackson & Chris Cheesley. Rink 2: Denis Holborow, Geoff Smith, Craig Morphet & John Thomas.
Meanwhile, Swindon Manor bring the curtain down on their tough debut season in the Wessex League when they face second placed Loddon Vale (Basingstoke) tomorrow.
