WILTSHIRE Lawn Tennis Association welcomed the LTA President Cathie Sabin to visit the facility project taking place at St Marks Community Tennis site in Swindon.
The partnership investment from the Swindon Borough Council, Lawn Tennis Association and Swindon Community Tennis Club has led to the initiative and the courts are open on May 17 for a free ‘come and try’ event, as part of the Great British Tennis Weekend.
Roger Henry, Wiltshire LTA Tennis Chairman, said: “We are delighted that Cathie visited Wiltshire, listened to our views and visited the impressive facility at St Marks Swindon.
“We are extremely thankful to her for visiting and look forward to a great summer of tennis at St Marks and across Wiltshire.’’
