SWINDON Wildcats will start the new English Premier League season at home as they take on Peterborough Phantoms at the Link Centre on Saturday, September 12.

New head coach Stevie Lyle takes his side on the road for the first time the following day when they travel to Telford Tigers.

Lyle’s Cats also face a trip to the Telford Ice Rink on the final day of the regular season on Sunday, March 20, with the end-of-season play-offs scheduled to get under way the following weekend.

Swindon’s final home fixture is against league newcomers Hull Pirates on Saturday, March 19.

Hull’s introduction to the league means each club will face each other three times at home and three away, while 18 of the first 23 fixtures double as Challenge Cup matches.

Lyle’s men host Basingstoke Bison on Boxing Day, while another notable fixture is the lengthy away trip to Hull on Tuesday, December 29.
