POOLE PIRATES inflicted Coventry's second loss of the season when they beat them 52-40 in front of the television cameras on Monday, writes DAVE EATON.

It moved the south coast club up into second place with Swindon Robins dropping to fourth as Reading also won.

However, if Swindon beat Eastbourne tomorrow night they will regain second spot in the Elite League.

And if they win by 19 points or more will take the aggregate (bonus) point as well.

Robins will be featured live on Sky Sports next Monday, April 30, when they entertain Peterborough at home at Blunsdon (7.30pm).

It is the first of three television appearances in six weeks as Swindon's away matches at Coventry on May 21 and Poole on Monday June 11 are scheduled for live coverage as well.
