TOWN look set for a busy transfer deadline day with Lawrence Vigouroux reported to be on the verge of signing permanently.
The deal for the goalkeeper, reported by BBC Wiltshire, who is currently on loan from Liverpool, would open up a slot for another player to be brought in a temporary basis.
Making the stopper's move a permanent deal was discussed by chairman Lee Power when Vigouroux first joined the club.
With Yaser Kasim also rumoured to be looking to leave before the window shuts, the move for Vigouroux would allow for Power to use his connections to bring in a midfielder on loan should he need to.
The Advertiser understands Louis Thompson, who was at the County Ground on Saturday, would be open to a return if he cannot find a Championship club to join on loan.
