ALUN Rossiter will have no truck with the argument that Swindon Robins took advantage of a weakened Coventry outfit 12 days ago - and wants his side to prove it upon their return to Brandon this evening.

Robins swamped the Bees 55-36 in an eye-catching result on August 21, one of six wins in their last seven Elite League matches.

Coventry did operate rider replacement for that meeting, while reserve Jason Garrity was also missing, but Rossiter insists the win was down to his side’s own performance.

“We should be going there without any fears,’’ the Swindon boss said of tonight’s meeting.

“There was a lot of harping on about them being weakened last time but we rode very well as well. I think it should be accepted they were beaten by the better team and, to me, it showed they are quite reliant on Jason Garrity.’’ Peter Kildemand features at number four for the Robins tonight following his return to the club in the wake of Darcy Ward’s serious injuries.

Skipper Troy Batchelor is at number one and Lewis Rose returns at reserve.

The Bees should feature former Robins rider Kyle Howarth.
