AUSTRIAN second division side FC Wacker Innsbruck have announced the signing of Swindon Town forward Henrik Ojamaa following the mutual termination of his contract.

The 24-year-old has signed a contract until 2017 with the option of a further year after an unsuccessful spell at the County Ground.

The Estonian, who had 23 international caps, made 11 appearances for Swindon after signing on a free in September.

"I am very pleased to be able to sign a contract here at this historic club,” said Ojamaa after penning the deal.

“I would like to do more with my offensive game to help the team and link up with my teammates at the top.”

Innsbruck general manager Alfred Hörtnagl was delighted with the move and said that Ojamaa can play in a number of positions.

"Ojamaa, despite his young age, is already an internationally experienced player,” he said.

“Henrik is has been used in a variety of positions, preferably up top or as a striker.

“His advantage is his speed, he is strong when one-on-one and he also stands out due to his goals, primarily through his ability to assist."
