MORE than three years after he won a competition to earn a contract at Swindon Town, Kayden Jackson has signed for a club that could be playing in the Championship next season.

In April 2013, the 22-year-old became one of two winners of the third Samsung Win A Pro Contract competition and signed a one-year professional deal at the County Ground.

The striker, who was sent out on loan to Swindon Supermarine and Oxford City during his time at Town, was released in May 2014.

After spells with the likes of Tamworth and Wrexham, Jackson has now penned a two-year contract with League One play-off finalists Barnsley, who take on Millwall at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
