SWINDON Town Ladies saw their first-round FA Cup tie with Southampton Ladies postponed at the eleventh hour this afternoon.

The game, which was meant to kick-off at 2pm, was initially put back by 20 minutes to allow for frost to thaw at AFC Totton’s Testwood Stadium.

However, the referee was not happy that one corner of the pitch was still solid as a result of the cold overnight temperatures and postponed the fixture.

The game has been rearranged for next Sunday, 2pm, meaning that Steve Robertson’s side will no longer host West Ham United Ladies in the FA Women’s Premier League Southern Division as originally scheduled.
