SWINDON Town ladies manager Stephen Robertson wants to see his side be more clinical as they host West Ham United Ladies tomorrow.

Robertson’s side go into the game at Barrington Park having not played since December 18 when they lost 3-0 to Crystal Palace Ladies.

Despite being pleased with that performance, Robertson now wants his side to demonstrate a more ruthless streak.

“We are well aware of it and we have been building up to it since Christmas, it’s no different to any other game, we still want to get something out of it, but it is important we get the performance right,” said Robertson “I still think it was a good performance (against Palace) and the only difference was clinical finishing, we had plenty of chances ourselves.

“We are confident. We have done a lot of work on finishing in the last couple of weeks.

“We need to start being a bit more ruthless in front of goal and take our chances when we get them to give us an advantage.”

West Ham are currently bottom of the pile in FA Women’s Premier League Southern Division.

The Swindon manager is more than aware of the importance of tomorrow’s game as they look to claim all three points for the only third time this season.

“That’s the key to survival really, you have to pick up points from the ones who are around you,” he said.

“Then hope you can get something from those teams who are a little bit further up."
