SWINDON Town fell to a 4-0 defeat to Derby County’s U23s in their latest pre-season fixture today.
Playing at the Championship side’s training ground, an unnamed Swindon Town side slipped to their first defeat of the summer.
Swindon kept the scoreline goalless in the first half before Derby’s Emil Riis Jakobsen broke the deadlock.
A brace from Offrande Zanzala and a Lewis Walker strike secured the win for the hosts.
Town are back in action tomorrow at the Football Association’s national football centre, St George’s Park, where the Adver understands the opposition will be a Benfica side, who have been training at the site in Staffordshire today.
