Adver Sport’s Harry Abbott assess the performances of Swindon Town’s players in today’s match at Morecambe.

LAWRENCE VIGOUROUX – 6.5

Made one superb stop when rushing from his line but had to play through the pain barrier because of an ankle injury, which led to a few hairy moments before that.

BEN PURKISS – 7

Town’s tactics gave plenty of space for their full-backs and he combined nicely with McDermott, as highlighted by the goal.

OLLY LANCASHIRE – 7.5

Another composed display from the Swindon skipper, who reads the game so well and ushers out any danger in calm fashion.

DION CONROY – 8

Had to be strong up against the threat of Vadaine Oliver and battled hard all afternoon with some crucial challenges in a brave performance.

CHRIS HUSSEY – 6.5

Not his most dangerous display but still probed with darts up the left and was a strong in the tackle when required.

PAUL MULLIN – 8.5

Ran himself into the ground as usual, and was determined to make an impression at his old stomping ground with several lively breaks. Booked.

JAMES DUNNE – 8

Hassled the Shrimps non-stop for 90 minutes and did not allow them to string play together through the middle of the park.

AMINE LINGANZI – 7.5

Another busy performance in a congested midfield and won plenty of the ball for his side to build off as well as stifling the hosts’ play.

DONAL MCDERMOTT – 8

Won the game with a great goal and produced his most lively performance so far this season.

KAIYNE WOOLERY – 6

Tough afternoon. Ran around looking to get involved but did not have much to feed off and was not helped by the wind holding up the ball when aiming for the channels.

LUKE NORRIS – 7.5

Not too many shooting chances to speak of but showed real endeavour to chase the ball and was a handful for the Shrimps defence.

Substitutes:

JAMES BROPHY – 5.5

(For Woolery, 65) Missed a glorious chance to kill off the game swiftly after his introduction.

CHRIS ROBERTSON – 6

(For McDermott, 86) Brought on as Town added extra numbers in the closing minutes and got in some timely tackles in that time.

HARRY SMITH – 5

(For Norris, 90) No time to make an impact on the game.

Subs not used: Will Henry, Conor Thomas, Ellis Iandolo, Tom Smith.
