WROUGHTON took over the leadership of the Wiltshire League Premier Division with a 3-2 victory over Corsham Town Reserves on Saturday.

With previous pole sitters Cricklade Town seeing their match against Westbury United Reserves postponed, the villagers went to the head of the standings as goals from Jamie McLaughlin, Craig Bowden and Tyler Wilkinson secured the win.

Melksham Town Reserves are two points behind with three games in hand after registering a sixth consecutive league victory by thumping Marlborough Town 6-0.
