Adver Sport give their assesment on Swindon Town's narrow defeat at home to Lincoln City.

Reice Charles-Cook -7

Not much for the Town stopper to do in what was a dull encounter at the Energy Check County Ground.

Ben Purkiss - 6.5

Provided a great block deep into the second half to keep Swindon in the game but didn’t get forward as convincingly as previous weeks. Subbed.

Olly Lancashire – 6

Had a header in the first half but couldn’t quite direct it towards goal. Another steady outing for the Town skipper.

Matt Preston – 7

Kept things moving with a sense of urgency at the back as well as making some assured clearances when required.

Matt Taylor - 6.5

The former West Ham man was busy throughout but blew hot and cold with his deliveries from set pieces.

James Dunne – 6

Met his match in Michael Bostwick, who matched his physicality and put in a commanding display to mute the 27-year-old.

Amine Linganzi – 6

Not the best performance from the former Portsmouth enforcer who was guilty of a loose touch and stray pass at times.

Paul Mullin - 6.5

Industrious and you can’t fault his work rate but struggled to really make an impact in this one. Subbed.

John Goddard – 7

Another one who didn’t quite reach the levels of Saturday afternoon, however, he did provide a threat when cutting inside on his stronger foot.

Keshi Anderson  - 7

Came up against a robust and well drilled backline which meant he could quite get a foothold on the ball.

Luke Norris – 7

Like many of his teammates, he wasn’t at his best, there will be more concern surrounding his shoulder especially as he decided to continue playing despite being in discomfort.

Kaiyne Woolery (Purkiss 87’) – 6

Wasn’t really given the best chance to make an impact due to his late arrival.

Donal McDermott – 6.5

Had slightly longer than Woolery and benefitted from that, but didn’t make too much of a difference on proceedings.
