Swindon Advertiser:

One to watch - Otis Khan

With Olufela Olomola and Francois Zoko sitting out the final game of their bans when Swindon visit Huish Park this weekend, much of the goalcoring onus for the Glovers is likely to come down to Khan, who is in his second season with the Huish Park club.

Khan has netted six times so far this season, including the winning penalty against League One Southend in the FA Cup first round almost a fortnight ago.

The youngster started his career at Manchester United before joining Sheffield United in 2012 and going on to play in loan spells at Buxton, Matlock Town and Barrow and joining Barnsley.

Accomplished in a central role or out wide, Khan scored eight times last season and is also joint top of Yeovil’s assist stats this season with three.

Key battle – Olly Lancashire v Sam Surridge

THE absences of Olomola and Zoko will rob Yeovil of a strikeforce that has netted 12 times between them so far this term, but Surridge is also a threat, having scored three times himself.

The 19 year old joined the Glovers on a season-long loan from AFC Bournemouth two days prior to the start of the 2017/18 season, having scored eight goals in 10 appearances on loan at Poole Town last term, earning him promotion to Eddie Howe’s first-team after a good spell with the Cherries’ U21s.

Lancashire has been part of a consistent Town back four in recent league games, forming a decent central defensive partnership with Matt Preston.
