ONE TO WATCH: Seriki Dembele

The 20-year-old speedy winger spent time with the Mariners on trial towards the end of last season.

His first professional club, Town fought off competition from a number of clubs for Dembele’s signature and he has responded well, making 18 starts and scoring three goals for Grimsby this season.

Elsewhere, Russell Slade is hoping that Martyn Woolford has recovered from the illness that forced him to miss Saturday’s clash with Carlisle United to face Swindon.

The Mariners have injury concerns over James Berrett, who missed out against Carlisle with a back problem.

Paul Dixon will be available again after serving a one match ban at the weekend.

KEY BATTLE: Keshi Anderson v Nathan Clarke

A RUSSELL Slade favourite, Grimsby captain Clarke had worked with the Mariners’ manager on two previous occasions, the 33 year old defender joining the Lincolnshire side in the summer to do so again.

The former Huddersfield Academy product spent 11 years at The Terriers making over 300 appearances, before joining Slade at Leyton Orient in 2012. After a spell at Bradford he was re-united with Slade at Coventry City in January.

Anderson meanwhile, should be brimming with confidence after a goal and fine display in the Swindon win at Yeovil on Saturday.

The on-loan striker was a constant menace to the Glovers’ defence and also set up Kellan Gordon’s equaliser.
