SWINDON Supermarine midfielder Sam Morris has become the latest player to agree a deal at the Webbswood Stadium.

Supermarine are preparing for life in the Southern League Premier Division following their successful play-off campaign in May.

Since then, new boss Lee Spalding has wasted no time in assembling his squad for next season.

With Morris signing, he has joined the majority of last season’s promotion-winning side in returning to the Webbswood.

“I’m really pleased Sam has agreed to return for the upcoming season. He is a player who brings good experience to the team,” said Spalding.

“He’s a real one club man, he’s played over 300 games and is a team player plus a great lad to have in the changing room.

“I’m sure he’ll be relishing the challenge of the new season at the level above and the challenge of getting himself in the the team for next season as will all the players who are returning.”

Spalding has also added some fresh faces to the equation with former Forest Green Rovers striker Stuart Fleetwood heading the list, in addition to Dan Williamson who made the switch from Winchester City.

Conor McDonagh is another one of Spalding’s signings as he looks to improve the club’s frontline.

The club’s latest fresh face is Adam Mann, who also agreed to join the newly-promoted side after leaving Evesham United to link up with Spalding’s troops.
