WILTSHIRE completed a foursomes clean sweep as they wrapped up their second inter-county championship victory of South West Week at Bradford on Avon's Cumberwell Park course today.

The county, day one winners over Devon on Sunday, totally dominated the afternoon session of their clash with Dorset to close out a 10.5-3.5 triumph.

Wiltshire had claimed a 4.5-3.5 singles advantage in the morning as county champion Tom Law (Broome Manor) and Tom Stagg (Salisbury & South Wilts) recorded 4&3 wins.

Cumberwell Park’s Joe Retford and James Cooper, of Bowood, both won by one hole and Wrag Barn’s Max Drayton halved his contest, Garry Slade (Bowood) Paul McMullen (Kingsdown) and Dom Baverstock-Seaman (Marlborough) slipping to defeats.

Slade and Cumberwell's Cooper, Stagg and Retford, Baverstock-Seaman and Bowood's Cooper and Drayton and Law then swept the board in the quartet of foursomes contests to secure the county's second win.

The inter-county championship takes a break on Tuesday, with the County Championship qualifier and South West Strokeplay Championship taking centre stage at Cumberwell.
