LEAGUE Two new boys Macclesfield Town will visit Swindon Town on the opening day of the season on August 4, it was revealed this morning.
The Silkmen, who appointed Mark Yates as their manager earlier this week, will be the opponents as Phil Brown kicks off his first full season in charge at the Energy Check County Ground.
Town also visit Lincoln City, Crawley Town and Forest Green Rovers in the opening month of the campaign, with a Carabao Cup tie against Rovers also scheduled for August.
Town will travel to Northampton Town on Boxing Day and host Exeter City on New Year's Day 2019.
A trip to Cambridge United is booked for Good Friday (April 19) next year, with Crewe Alexandra the visitors to the County Ground on Easter Monday (April 22).
Town also conclude their campaign at home to last season's play-off semi-finalists Notts County on May 4 next year.
