SWINDON Town will face Newport County and Plymouth Argyle in this season’s Checkatrade Trophy following today’s draw.
The trio have been pitted in Group C of the Southern section and will be joined by a fourth invited U21 side when that draw takes place next Wednesday.
Town will face an U21 team from one of seven Premier League clubs - Arsenal, Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea, Fulham, Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United - or Championship outfit Swansea City.
