IT’S been a pretty boring week for myself to be honest after being forced to sit out of racing for nine days following my crash at Glasgow.

I suffered from concussion and there’s little you can do as the rules state I must sit out.

The circumstances of the crash were frustrating. I was competing at the World Under 21 Team Cup semi-final with Team GB.

We reached the final, but after winning my first two rides I crashed heavily and was ruled out of the meeting.

It was the first time I went to Glasgow and it’s pleasing to know I can compete at that international level.

We arrived back home at around 7am on the Sunday morning, it was a long journey.

The day after I relaxed and felt fine by Monday morning, there have been a few headaches but that’s to be expected.

I’ve spent my time sending stuff away from the crash to be straightened, but to be hones there’s not a lot more I can do.

I’m back in action at King’s Lynn tonight and I can’t wait, it’s boring watching everyone ride while I’m out injured.

I’ve made sure that my bikes are good to go tonight, and it’s easy to take inspiration from the British Grand Prix in Cardiff at the weekend.

It’s always a superb event to go and watch, and it was a fantastic Grand Prix – it always is at Cardiff. To watch it is spectacular and I always seem to get that weekend off.

I guess riding in the Grand Prix is a dream for any speedway rider. You go and watch the Grand Prix and that is the goal, to compete at Grand Prix level.

To have an event like that in Britain is good too.

I went to watch the lads at the Abbey on Monday night as it’s not too far for me to come and watch.
